The new  BIOS Version (1.72) now boots from USB Stick and even from Compact Flash Card.

But it still doesn't list the USB stick in the BIOS Boot Order Screen if the Card Reader is connected.

To boot from USB stick you need to:

then

Or

If you don't disconnect the built-in USB Card reader it still does not boot from the very same USB Stick.

If you press F11 and go into the Boot Device Dialog it will not boot from USB Stick but instead boots from HD. In the BIOS Boot Order Screen the USB Stick is still not listed. So, that is still the same behavior as seen in 104.html

Booting from a Compact Flash Card (CF-Card) works fine with the built-in USB Card reader connected.

Only drawback is that you cannot tell which USB device (from the 4 USB: Generic STORAGE DEVICE) you should choose.

The device name is not listed (I named the CF Card: boot) It always says: USB: Generic STORAGE DEVICE. I selected the first one and was lucky - it worked.

What works?

What does not work?
